QUESTION:  Can I use my e-mail address as my username when applying for a new account?
ANSWER:  No. You may not use an e-mail address as your username. Generally, you may choose any username you like, provided that it is not being used already, is at least 6 characters in length, and does not contain prohibited characters. E-mail addresses are not allowed because they contain "@" symbols. Dashes, underscores and periods are allowed, however, the username cannot contain spaces. We strongly recommend that you use the same username for each jurisdiction for which you apply.
